On Friday night we left right before bedtime to head to Marion to see Cookie and Grumps (or "Tookie and Dumps" as Caroline says). The girls took a tub at home, got into their PJs, and hopped into the car to *hopefully* spend at least two of the three hours in the car sleeping.

Caroline had other plans. Lucy fell asleep within a half hour. Caroline decided to serenade us for over two hours with Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, The Itsy Bitsy Spider, and a mash up of various Yo Gabba Gabba songs. She finally fell asleep long after her normal bedtime, and despite our hopes, she woke up at the exact same time she always does.
Cookie and Grumps were up early to greet the girls, and Lucy and Cookie made eggs, bagels, and fruit for breakfast (all of Caroline's favorite foods).
