Last night, for example, she was happily playing and running around our living room when she tripped in open space and we all heard the audible crack of her forehead on one of our side tables. My first thought was about how loud the sound was. Was there going to be blood? Did she already have a giant lump? My other thought was that she clearly inherited her mother's grace. Anyway, she cried a bit, but it wasn't anything that the magical healing powers of Yo Gabba Gabba couldn't fix.

It is important to note that she hit her head in exactly the same spot where she already had a bruise from tripping on the pavement and hitting her head.
A month ago Steve took the girls to his parents' house while I was in San Fran. Within minutes of arriving, Caroline picked up a log bigger than her, fell over backwards, and the log ripped open her chin. It resulted in a lot of blood, a huge scab, and eventually a scar which is still on her face.
Basically, the baby's face is banged up. Thankfully the mullet is gone, but there is little we can do to help the scars, bruises, and scabs that she brings upon herself. I have joked that Lucy needs a rubber room, but I might actually be serious about that for Caroline.
So I've never seen Yo Gabba Gabba. I only glean it's awesomeness from your tales of it. But the picture of Dr. DJ Lance and other cast memebers...they kind of creep me out. I think I like full animation more because I don't have to think about what real life is like for Dr. DJ Lance or others. The Blue's Clues guy freaks me out. As does Mr. Noodle on Elmo's World. And I especially wonder if they are married and what the heck their spouce is like and what the heck they were thinking!
