NANA!

Nana is here, and our girls couldn't be happier. We didn't tell Lucy that she was coming yesterday specifically (although Lucy knew that Nana was coming for her birthday). We did this mainly because had she known that Nana was coming to pick her up on Tuesday, she would have probably been completely insane all day at school. We like her teachers too much to put them through that.

So Nana surprised Lucy and she was ecstatic - particularly because this meant that there was an extremely patient adult who was perfectly happy to walk up and down the road with Lucy while she tried out her new bike from Cookie and Grumps. Just look at those grins:
