Brownies

This is certainly not a cooking blog mainly because I am not a great cook and do not enjoy the process of cooking. At one point (read: before kids) I enjoyed baking and trying out new recipes, but that desire all but disappeared once we had the girls. Now that I have this blog I have started reading other blogs and have found some good stuff. I rarely post a recipe unless it is really good, really easy, or both. This recipe falls into the last category: Rocky Road Brownies

These brownies are AMAZING. They definitely got the Steve Soden seal of approval - and he has a more discerning palate than you might guess :-) You can make it easier by going with the store bought frosting, but the homemade stuff was delicious and not difficult to put together. I didn't make mine with nuts, but I'm sure they would be good with them included.

So, if you are looking for a good treat or something to bring to a potluck then these are a great option. They are so good (and not good for you) that I am almost annoyed that I found the recipe. Unfortunately, I am not annoyed enough to never make them again.
