Sibling Rivalry

When Lucy had her first loose tooth, she was so scared to pull it out of her mouth. It was actually hanging by a (disgusting) string before it finally fell out on its own.

We told Caroline this story in hopes that it would calm her fears of pain with her first loose tooth coming out. Instead, Caroline took this as a challenge and then chose to rip the tooth out of her mouth while we were out at dinner. She then kept telling us how brave she was and mocked Lucy by saying, "You know, Lucy, I am much braver than you were when you were my age."

Oy.

I guess that's one way to motivate Caroline. Consider it noted.
