I have been away from the blog for a while because of Hurricane Sandy. While we were very lucky and our house sustained no damage, we have not had electricity since Monday evening. The girls were fantastic through it all and complained very little. Steve and I both had the entire week off of work because of all of the damage to the area. We feel very fortunate that the only hardship we have experienced is the inconvenience of not having power.
That being said, we could not take another day (and very chilly night) of not having power and heat so we hightailed it out of there and headed to Cookie and Grumps' house. I will have some pictures to post later I am sure but for now we are just enjoying heat, light, and endless amounts of Nick Jr. :-)
