Caroline has been known to be a picky eater at times, but she doesn't mess around when eating breakfast.

Beach Day 3
We headed to the beach again this morning. Seriously, I could get used to this lifestyle. Below are some of the pictures. Not much to say except that it was a great morning!

Delaware Days 1 and 2
Well, we are here. We began the trip by Lucy explaining to us that we were going the wrong way:
We were not, in fact, going the wrong way.
Caroline happily played with books.
The rest of the trip was pretty good. Both girls napped, we didn't have any huge traffic issues, and we arrived about when we thought we would.
When we arrived, the girls were very wound up and bedtime was a little tough. We put Lucy and Cate in the same room which provided some wonderful entertainment for all. Eventually everyone went to sleep and we woke up ready to rip.
After a healthy breakfast of donuts, we headed to the beach. Although it was overcast, it was still very warm and humid and no one was sad about getting into the water. When we arrived, I realized that I had forgotten how big the waves are here compared to our beach at home. Everyone was a little apprehensive at first. It was not helped at all by the fact that when we first tried to take Lucy, Caroline, and Cooper out, all of the adults got hit by a GIANT wave and pretty much every kid got an up close and personal encounter with water. Eventually Lucy went out into the water and swam by herself (with a life jacket) out with the adults.
Meanwhile, back on the beach, the other kids played well. When I took the camera out, Cooper said, "Take pictures of me while I run!" So here are the pics:
In general, everyone played well together and had a great time.
When it came time for us to try a shot of all four cousins, Lucy decided to be a bum:
Eventually she got it together and this was the best shot of the morning:

And we're off!
We are heading off to Delaware today to vacation with Steve's family. It promises to be fun and full of great photo opportunities. Steve had better get his best smile ready :-)
The last time we took this trip we only had Lucy and Cate, and the arrival of Cooper and Caroline was in the not so distant future. It's hard to remember them ever being this small:

And then we sat in traffic forever
When you are driving home and run into this:
and you are already a bit tired to begin with, things can get a little silly. For example, I decided to entertain myself by taking pictures.
I was wildly entertained by this, and the girls seemed to enjoy it as well. My husband was not impressed.

Reunion
We were reunited with the Wysocki gang (minus Tammy) yesterday at Marc's parents' house. The kids all had a blast, and I can pretty safely say that the adults did as well. When we got to the house the kids played outside for a while and then we headed over to the playground across the street.
After we were sufficiently tired out at the playground we headed back to eat dinner and play in the backyard. The kids ran around a lot:
A group shot of the whole gang:
Thank you to the Wysocki family for hosting us, feeding us, letting our children run all over your yard, and keeping our cups filled (special shout out to Frank for that one). We had a great time and hope to do it again soon! And Tammy, you had better be there next time :-)

| They were totally insane and didn't stop running. In fact, most of my pictures were just blurry blobs where kids should have been. |
