This is (as usual) belated, but happy birthday to these two. It's hard to believe that we have a six year old and an eight year old. Here's to another year of your laughter, your kindness, your curiosity, and your love. Admittedly you are giving me gray hair, but you are also making our lives happier and full of love.

4th of July

Every year our neighborhood has a "parade" followed by games and BBQ. The quotes are there because it consists of about 20 kids on bikes that they've decorated led by a convertible playing patriotic music. They go 5 blocks and end at the neighborhood park where there are games to be played and prizes to be won. It's a little hokey but the kids love it and it's a low maintenance celebration with the nice people in our neighborhood. Below are a few of our Fourth of July highlights:

We are still alive but busy. I will try to get it together and add some updates this weekend!

This dog loves weekends as much as we do. We spent this morning having some much needed snuggling time. The first week back from break is rough.
