We drove to Salt Creek Rec Area and had a great time. We explored the tidal pools and swam in the water. It started out foggy but turned out to be a nice day.

The parking was right next to an old army bunker.
It was pretty huge and awesome to explore.

We Are Here!

We are in Wisconsin. We sold our house in Connecticut and are into our new home. Our stuff isn't here and won't be here for another ten days (at least). That means that we have been living out of suitcases for a month. That sounds bad, but I am trying to find the silver lining. First of all, we have a home to move into and our girls are very excited to sleep in sleeping bags. We are able to paint some of the rooms without the annoyance of furniture. We also happened to plan a trip to Seattle to visit my family (pics to come in a future post) that have allowed us to get away. And we will be having work done on our home and not having furniture is actually a plus.

It hasn't been easy, but I refuse to dwell on the negative. We are lucky to have professions that allow us to enjoy a summer without working.

So, we are here and enjoying our time in Wisconsin. We miss our friends in CT, but we are exploring the area and the girls are making new friends. More pictures to come!
